Notice that a few of the business people are so brainwashed that even when a government tax is destroying them (by driving out Amazon) they still go into “evil big business” moder – like one Doctor P.’s dogs slobbering when they hear a bell. Many years of “education” (reenforced by the msm) do this to some minds.
The legal position is actually quite simple – and goes back way before the internet. Out of state mail order companies do NOT act as taxcollectors for the government, period.
Wow. It’s rare to see a big company speak out against the government like this. More, please. (And if I bump into Bezos in a bar on Mars, I’ll buy him a drink.)
